Ear and eye protection is mandatory while on the range. You may use your own eyeglasses and hearing protection or purchase them from us. Earplugs are provided for free.
Important notes
- Open to the public 7 days a week from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Availability is first-come, first-served. Range reservations apply only to Elite members.
- A valid FOID card or CCL is required for all Illinois residents to rent a lane.
- Illinois guests without a FOID card can still shoot, but they must share a lane with a FOID card holder or schedule a lesson with one of our instructors. Please remember to bring a valid driver's license or state ID.
- Out-of-state residents can rent a lane with a valid state ID.
- International visitors please call for more information.
- Children aged 10 and above may use the range but must be accompanied by an adult or guardian who holds a valid FOID card.
- If you bring your own ammunition to shoot on the range it must be approved by our staff. See the restricted ammunition information below under "safety and rules".
- If you are under 21 years of age you cannot rent or shoot a handgun without an adult present.
- Acknowledgment of range rules and a signed waiver are required before entering the range.

What ammunition is restricted?
The following ammunition cannot be used at the range:
- Steel-core / penetrator rounds
- Tracer rounds
- Incendiary rounds
- Green tips
- Armor-piercing rounds
- Birdshot
- Buckshot
Can you shoot steel case ammunition or bi-metal bullets?
Yes, steel-cased ammunition with bi-metal bullets is allowed. Please bring the ammunition box so we can verify the bullet is indeed bi-metal and not steel core. No steel core ammunition of any type is allowed on the range.
What guns can be used at the range?
The range allows:
- Pistols
- Rifles
- Shotguns (slugs only)
- Pellet guns
Who is not allowed to shoot at the range?
The following individuals are not permitted:
- Anyone legally prohibited from possessing firearms.
- Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Anyone deemed irresponsible by staff
Can minors shoot at the range?
Yes, but:
- Must be 10 years or older
- Must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
What safety features does the range have?
The range includes:
- AR550 steel ballistic containment system
- Concrete filled CMU walls
- Bullet containment trap
- Ceiling baffling system to redirect bullets safely
- Advanced HVAC ventilation system meeting OSHA and NIOSH standards.
- Bulletproof dividers between each lane.
What are your hours?
The range is open every day from 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM. On certain holidays the club may close early.
Are you open to the public?
Yes. Membership is not required to use the facility, but membership options are available for frequent users.
Can I make reservations?
General public access is first-come, first-serve.
However, Elite Members can reserve shooting lanes in advance.
Do you have firearm rentals?
Yes. The club has over 170 rental firearms available.
Can I bring my own ammo?
Yes. You may bring your own ammunition for your personal firearms.
If you use rental firearms, you must purchase and use ammo provided by the club.
Do you have an outdoor range?
No, we don’t have outdoor range.
Do you allow Trap shooting?
No, we don’t allow Trap shooting.
Do you allow archery?
No, we don’t allow archery.
